The world is becoming increasingly globalized and it is important to encourage your student to seek out an international experience. Studying abroad is a life changing experience for many students which can help them achieve their future goals. Approximately 80% of returning study abroad students report a higher interest in academics after they return. International experiences including learning a second (or third!) language are valuable in the business world as well. Of the U.S. study abroad students surveyed 62% said that their time abroad directly influenced their career direction.
Today students have a wide variety of study abroad experiences from which to choose! Students can study abroad in intensive short term summer programs or during the regular fall or spring semesters and they can choose from hundreds of locations around the world. Norwich offers direct exchanges to universities abroad with a strong relationship with Norwich as well as a hundreds of programs coordinated through partner organizations focused on providing outstanding academic experiences abroad.
